The German Sustainability Award for Packaging is entering its third round: In cooperation with REWE Group, we will again award sustainable product packaging ideas in 2021. Participation is possible now and until May 22nd via an online survey. The award will be presented during the German Sustainability Day on December 3rd, 2021 in Düsseldorf.
Companies of all sizes and from all sectors can enter the 14th German Sustainability Award until May 31. The award is given to business players who are leading the way with innovative products and services, high ecological standards in production or special social commitment in their supply chain.

An Award is only as strong as the attention it receives. With over 7,000 reports, the GSA 2020 achieved a gross coverage of 1.4 billion media contacts throughout Germany. In addition to intensive press work, our organization cooperates with WELT, 3Sat/ZDF and other media partners from the daily and trade press as well as online media. Special inserts and advertisements introduce the stakeholders surrounding the GSA, generate press coverage and help to enhance the impact of the awards.
The GSA is consistently undertaken as a multi-stakeholder project. The award is backed by the German Federal Government and numerous other groups of stakeholders from industry, research and civil society. The diversity of our institutional partners strengthens the award. The foundation is committed to the best possible implementation, transparency and independent moderation of the GSA.
