Business partnerships that are committed to sustainability and equal participation for all make an important contribution to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

Calling role models for sustainability and equal participation for all.

Together with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), this year's award honors role models for particularly successful partnerships in the areas of sustainability and equal participation.

All companies that successfully engage in partnerships to implement the 2030 Agenda and assume responsibility in their supply chains are eligible apply for the German Sustainability Award Global Corporate Partnerships.

Companies in Germany and the Global South apply in tandem

By completing an online questionnaire, companies based in Germany are eligible to apply by 7 October, 2022, to work with a partner company from the Global South to promote the equal participation of women, girls, and LGBTIQ+ people throughout their supply chains, in their operations, and/or beyond.

The partnership should be committed to sustainable development in line with the 2030 Agenda and contribute to raising awareness among consumers and business partners on how to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Successful transformation concepts deserve attention right now, and the finalists deserve appreciation. The winners will receive their awards in front of guests from the business community, local governments, politics, research and civil society. It is their evening in the spirit of respect for the different paths to the same great goal.
