Dibella GmbH offers textile service customers durable contract textiles such as bed linen and table linen. The company headquartered in Bocholt works closely with the Indian Chetna Cooperative, an association of small farmers from around 50 villages. They cultivate cotton sustainably and, according to GOTS, do not use genetically modified seeds, artificial fertilizers or pesticides. At the same time, fixed purchase quantities,
fair prices and premiums provide farmers with a basic income. In addition, there are educational investments such as training courses in organic farming, which also contribute to an increase in the standard of living. By the same token, more and more German customers are focusing on responsible consumption and are increasingly turning to sustainably produced products.
On 14 November 2018, the jury of the German Sustainability Award will select the top 3 entries and the winner.
