#DNP26 in Duesseldorf: Strong through transformation
On December 3rd and 4th the economy which understands sustainability as a chance for success meets for the 19th time in Duesseldorf. The focus: outstanding speakers, the best of the GSA and the beginning of the European Sustainability Award (ESA).
No one who is responsible for sustainability within a business is not searching for general debates. Successful transformation decides over stability, competitive capability and economic success. What counts are experiences that inform future choices: which strategies have worked before? Which business models are scalable? And how does transformation become effective under real market conditions?
In the Maritim Hotel, the #DNP26 facilitates the meeting of people who actively design transformation: businesspeople, C-Level-decision makers, experts from fields such as science, politics and civil society – and the best out of the competitions of the German Sustainability Award.
About 2.000 participants experience keynotes, talks, masterclasses and debates about the climate, resources, nature, work and society – while close to the questions that really impact businesses these days: how is transformation going to stay financially viable? How do resilient business models come to be? How can sustainability become an advantage in a competition?
With the launch of the European Sustainability Award (ESA) on December 3rd, 2026, the GSA opens a new stage: sustainable practices from German Companies and businesses become visible and comparable across Europe. The ESA opens room for exchanges, visibility and connections on a European basis – for business, who view transformation as an economic chance, search for new partnerships and want to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness.
The winners of the GSA Businesses will represent Germany 2027 as the National Champions Germany in the European competition. They will be named and recognised on December 3rd.
MasterClass.
Less symbolism - more practice: The MasterClasses brings the award ceremony into the congress: Award-winning companies, industry experts and partners show concretely how transformation succeeds - in intensive sessions, with experience knowledge and open dialog at eye level.
BigPicture.
The BigPicture format includs both the opening and closing plenary sessions of our congress. Here, renowned experts share their knowledge and expertise with each other and with the audience. A varied mix of keynotes, interviews and discussion panels provides in-depth insights into this year's key topics.
TransMission.
The TransMission formats are each dedicated to our transformation fields - climate, nature, resources, value chain and society. Various facets of the respective topic are highlighted in keynotes, discussion panels and interviews. Top-class moderation and media extras round off the format.
DeepDive.
In our DeepDive formats, the focus was always on one topic, which was discussed intensively by the panel participants. The panel participants contributed different perspectives and backgrounds and shared best practices, experiences, perspectives and innovative solutions.
