The expert juries of the 18th German Sustainability Award for Companies select three finalists in each industry – including the winner. The experts focus on the companies' transformation achievements, which are reflected in a score based on the sustainability report and/or other published data. They also take into account the innovative strength, pioneering role and signal effect, scalability and leverage effect of their contributions, as well as their development dynamics.
The finalists and winners are beacons in their industries and provide impetus for a sustainable economy. Their best practices are not only recognised, but also shared: on 4 and 5 December 2025, the industry winners will present their strategies in masterclasses at the newly designed congress. Guests can learn directly from the best and take away successful approaches for their own practice. The work of the 100 expert juries forms the foundation for highlighting the diversity and innovative strength of sustainable companies.

Curated according to industries, business models or challenges, new spaces for learning, networking and impact will emerge. The TransMissions and DeepDives will continue to grow, a new networking event will bring fresh connections – and the festive dinner will honour the ‘Best of the Best’ and the honorary award winners: compact, high-quality, inspiring.
The names of those who will be moderating, discussing, providing inspiration or appearing on stage will be announced gradually from now on. The award winners will be announced after the jury has completed its work in September.
